Packing for college will be the death of me.
When did I get so many clothes? I'm packing according to how the season; I'll be home over Christmas, so I don't need to bring any spring clothes yet. BUT WHAT IF I NEED SOMETHING, AND IT'S NOT THERE?! That probably won't happen, and would be easy to deal with if I did, BUT. NNGH.

The thing that's causing me the most pain is my rat, Corn. I haven't been able to find a vet that will treat her, and the cancer's now half the size of her head. Since my dorm doesn't allow pets, she'll probably die before I get to come home and see her again.

In any case, I'm just going to continue doing my best, and hope everything works out. I'm sorry if I don't post or comment much; I'm going to be very busy. Or so I assume! And speaking of DA-things, my 5,000 kiriban is fast approaching!

So.
Today, I went on an expedition to find a buttonmaker. I am not feeling well today, so I was attempting to hurry. As I walked through the art supply store, I gave only cursory glances at the contents of each aisle, to determine if the stock indicated a buttonmaker was nearby.

To my horror, one of the aisles contained an item that held my eyes captive with disgust. In this aisle, a man was bent over in order to examine the goods on a lower shelf. His pants had descended on his hips to reveal that he was wearing no underwear.
It was a full moon.

And it was an unclean full moon, at that.

This did nothing to help my nausea.

Clubs I'm In

I just graduatd from High School last Thursday; a couple days ahead of everyone else and with A's and B's. What have I done with my free time in the wake of this accomplishment?

Sit on my ass, pig out on candy, and generally degenerate into a lazy slob.

But I have a plan to escape this...slobification. My plan is to improve the overall quality of my art as much as I can, and increase my portfolio with merchendise. That's right...merchendise. Not to brag, but I'm a whiz when it comes to sewing, crocheting, and sculpting. I can make a vast variety of plushies varying in style and complexity.

"If you're as good as you say you are, why haven't you posted any examples?" One may ask. Well...that would be because all of my best examples are waiting for me to finish them. I lose interest in projects I start for my own amusement. And there's the catch; 'for my own amusement'. When the project is for the benefit of someone else, I finish in a timely and professional manner.

So here's the deal. I'm going to be posting samples of my 'sellable' works, and I would like to know how much the public thinks they're worth. Please, BE BRUTALLY HONEST. Don't be shy about critiquing, either! There's nothing more flattering to me than when someone takes the time to help me improve.

Fanime was a blast and a half. I met some amazing new friends, and spent all my money on cool merchandise. and I bought some loli dresses, and she and Meg got me a beautiful Grunny scarf, which kept me warm the entire ride home.

I was Misty/Kasumi for the first two days, and then I was some weird, brightly colored rave girl. I went to the Gaia rave, and got a free item. Then, when I went back with Meeps, they gave me another one. The moral of that story is that when it's dark, people don't recognize you.

Just after leaving my new friends, I got a phone call. My albino rat, Ess, died while I was away. I cried like a little bitch for a while, and even went so far as to bug Meg and Meeps over the phone. Sorry, guys! But now, I'm done crying. I miss my little grumblebutt, but it's time to let her go. At least she wasn't in too much pain. Corn is lonely without her, though. All she's done is look for her all over the house, and cuddle me. ;~; Poor Corn. Expect some Ess art soon.

Also, my dermetographism was perfectly fine until I woke up this morning. >~< I'm so itchyyyy~
